Who We Are

The mission of Women of the Word is to proclaim the gospel using any medium, platform or device.

This online ministry is not affiliated with any church or other religious institutions. We simply proclaim that “Jesus Loves You and sets no other terms or conditions for that love.”

With our online Bible lessons, News items, scriptures, and testimonies, we encourage you to be blessed and nourished through His word. We encourage you to share your testimonies too.

What We Believe

We all can be assured of a fulfilling life packed with all the resources we need by admitting our sin to the one sovereign God, believing that God’s Son, Jesus, died on the cross for our sins and rose again, and confessing Him as the only one who can forgive our sins. The Bible says that we are saved by grace through faith and that this saving faith produces a changed life on Earth and guarantees eternal life in Heaven.

We embrace everyone willing to work with us as we labor to spread the Good News of the Gospel. We provide homemade edible treats for homeless men at Our Daily Bread in Baltimore. Recently, we joined Samaritan’s Purse in collecting gently used toys, shoes, and clothing for shipment to various sites in Africa

Frequently, we visit hospitals, nursing homes, and jails to share the Good News, although the COVID-19 pandemic has made this task more challenging. The current limitations brought by the pandemic spur us to use the website even more for outreach and witness.
