  • Our children are protected and kept safe this month during Spring Break, that they will have safe travels, joy and relaxation and sun-kissed adventures.
  • Our jobless brothers and sisters will have divine intervention that enables them to keep perspective on what matters most and build spiritual resilience as they look for new employment opportunities.
  • Our churches will be unified with harmony among members, a deeper faith walk, and efforts to develop spiritual habits that cultivate a closer relationship with God.
  • The hungry will have nourishing food today and that their physical needs be met through the generosity of others and the abundance you have placed in this world. The homeless will be protected as they seek shelter.

Colossians 3:17 says “And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.” Women of the Word takes that command seriously. We provide desserts to the homeless men who visit Our Daily Bread in Baltimore. We have partnered with Hope from the Heart Orphanage in Tanzania, collecting children clothing and toiletries state side and sending them to MWanza. In the past, we have worked with Samaritan’s Purse. Before COVID-19 and all its variants, we visited hospitals and nursing centers, as well as conducted Bible Study in local correctional institutions.
